Ex-Smokers because they're no longer living:
There was a time when smoking cigarettes was thought of as glamerous, sophisticated
and cool. It's too bad they didn't know then what we know now. Great actors such as
Humphrey Bogart in "Casablanca" was a smoker. One of the most memorable movies in American
television history. In fact, the American Film Institute named Casablanca (which took
only one week to make) the second greatest film of all time. Two of the lines spoken by
Humphrey Bogart which became very famous are, 'Here's looking at you, kid' and 'Play it, Sam'.
Also what was memorable is the fact that he was smoking a cigarette in almost every scene.
He eventually died of lung cancer.
Another great actress was Susan Hayward. She played in famous movies such as: "I'll Cry Tomorrow"
and "I Want to Live." In many of her scenes she was smoking a cigarette. And she, in fact,
did look very glamerous (especially without the cigarette). She also died of cancer.
Many people will remember Nat King Cole who was an exceptional singer. His daughter, of course
is Natalie Cole who also is an extroardinary singer. Nat King Cole sang great songs such
as, "Unforgettable," and "Mona Lisa." Unfortunately, his career was cut short by lung cancer.
Two of my favorite actresses were, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, who both played in
the movie, "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane." Bette Davis died of breast cancer and
Joan Crawford died of pancreatic cancer.
The one main thing that all of these celebrities had in common is that they were all smokers and not
one of them is alive to talk about it any longer.
There are many smokers out there who are very much alive and still can do something about
their smoking habit. There are also non-smokers out there who are thinking about starting to smoke (for one reason or another). For those
of you playing around with the idea of taking-up-the-habit, please take a look at Warning
to People Who Want to Learn How-to Smoke. No one said it was easy to quit, however, this quit smoking plan is by
far the easiest that I've ever seen or tried.
For only $12.99 (including shipping & handling) give it a try for yourself and start quitting now.
